I picked up this darling blush (surprise, surprise) dress by JACK from a little shop here in Halifax called Sweet Pea Boutique and almost melted when I tried it on. Every element of this dress screamed BUY ME...the bell sleeves, the soft suede material, the blush colour, the perfect drape... How could I not?
Until I can pair it with a pair of sandals or heels, I will wearing it with my OTK (over the knee) boots for some warmth. I love pieces that are functional and stylish too, and a pair of OTK boots is a must ladies! Now, let me be honest with you, I am short, and I have wide calves and thighs so finding a pair of OTK knees that fit me and didn't make my legs look like two sausages in casing was a feat and a half! The ones I have are from Zara and are no longer available but I did link above two great options for you.
To complete the look I added this waterfall collar belted jacket from asos that I have been obsessed with. My favourite way to wear it is cinched in the back and open in the front but if its windy and cold out it can be wrapped and belted up to keep you cozy.
Here's to the weekend! I hope it is filled with lots of family time, brunch, and coffee.... me? I will be working all weekend!
